It is an honour and a privilege to be President of the B.G.A
I look forward, but with apprehension, to my first year knowing the difficulties which lie ahead. With this in mind we at the B.G.A. welcome any feedback from member clubs on any matters which cause concern...
Junior golf has never been so strong and with Jack, our Junior Convenor I look forward to supporting these youngsters. Clubs should encourage the youngsters to enter the B.G.A. competitions which present a higher level of golf than can be found purely at club level. Good golfing in 2011 and may the true joys of golf sportsmanship, fellowship and friendship be the companions of you all.
